Extremely comfortable out of the box aside from typical GS outsole stiffness. Instep is a little tight for high volume feet due to the low gussetting but breaks in fine.

Perfect fit straight out of the box; don't think I've ever slipped my foot into something and immediately felt it was great. Quite stiff out of the box so it required some break-in, but the pattern is more forgiving on my wide in-step compared to the Diesel boot pattern due to no gussetting.

Purchased barely used. Was slightly stretched in the in-step by a cobbler and took a little while to break in but broke in nicely. Ample toe room, basically an EE-width at the toes but the instep can be tight for those with high volume feet. GS leather soles are a bit stiffer than others.

Purchased for COVID crowdfund for $195, received pair in January 2021. Best fitting pair I have, little break-in required. Worn almost every other day since received with no issues, though internal blake stitching may cause irritation at first.

Received from Rancourt's second COVID crowdfund. Little wear on it as saving it for boot season, but initial fit is comparable to Grant Stone Leo in 9E. Approximately the same width with a more generous midfoot, and a tad longer overall.
