The leather on my first pair of Birks started to get a smell to it around the one year mark. The second pair have yet to do that and I have worn them the same if not more than my first pair. The cork and outsole seem to last a good amount of time as I wear them everywhere.

Birkenstocks are my favorite sandals. They fit the best out of any footwear. I am a 12 in most sneakers and the 44 EU size fits perfectly. I would say I can get a good 2 to 2.5 years out of them before they need to be replaced. I basically wear them anytime I’m not wearing my boots. Once they fit to your foot they are just so comfortable.

Talk about a well built boot. The quality is top notch and all materials show it. The leather soles are strong and can stand up to anything you throw at them. The rubber soles are just as good but have much better traction.

I normally wear a size 12 in sneakers and I went with Grantstone’s recommendation of sizing down 1/2 size to an 11.5D. They fit great and are comfortable all day long.

Materials on the Iron Rangers are Excellent. These are my go to for hard work and they can take a beating no problem and clean up well.

Redwing Iron Rangers are kinda weird in their sizing. I wear a size 12 sneaker but I went with a 11ee. My first pair I bought from REI and they were an 11D but they ended up being too tight around my foot. Luckily I was able to return them to REI and then I went to Red Wing to buy them in EE size. I will say I don’t have a wide foot and the EE is slightly too wide. I do wear them with a thicker sock and they fit good now that they are broken in.

I just received my first pair of Truman’s today and out of the box they fit well. I wear a size 12 sneaker and sized down to 11.5D in Truman and that seems like the perfect size. I will update my review after I get a few more wears.

They say to go with your normal 1000 mile boot size. I wouldn’t. I have an 11.5 from a YouTube review but still found that to be slightly too small. The 12 fits and that’s my normal sneaker size. I wear 11 in 1000 mile boots and they fit comfortable.
