I bought this in size AU7, which is US8, fit is good. My ankles are slim, so there is quite a bit of a gap at the opening, but my feet won't fall out.

I bought this from a RW store, based on the staff's recommendation. I did not get a good look at the Brannock device, but the staff said I needed a 8.5 due to my width. Fit wise, it is good, but I do have a lot of extra space in the toe box. Which was good during a period of me buying boots that were 1/2 size too small and getting callouses. This pair allowed me to wear boots comfortably while my callouses heal. I have almost 2" in space at the back when my toe is all the way forward, but they don't feel loose at all during regular wear.
