The conventional wisdom is that you should size down from your 4497S size by one half step as it’s a more voluminous last but I found that Size 9 was tight and painful. Size 9.5-5 fits me well. Very comfortable in the toe box but has a slight amount of heel slip.

Not as good a fit as my 2030 Service boots in CXL stitichdown construction. Noticeably tighter across the width. I think the 1035 last from Viberg would suit me better for the same size.
