Fit was good initially, however the chromexcel leather does stretch. My feet began to go over the welts on the lateral side of the boots. I should have went down from brannock 1/2 size instead of 1 full size. In addition, the laces almost touch when they are laced up, I have about 1/2-3/4 of an inch left. The weight of the boot is perfect. The leather of the boot in terms of quality is also near perfect. Expensive !! Despite the flaws I think the boot is a great boot and would buy them again in a larger size.
