These look great. I bought these when I was experimenting with different grant stone sizes and previously bought 10.5E and they were a little tight on my instep so for these I went up to an 11E. They fit well with some thicker socks but I bought some additional grant stones later and realized the 11D was a better fit. Love grant stone boots and shoes.

I’ve tried grant stone 10.5E up to 11E because my brannock size is an 11E and I have a high instep so assumed I needed a wider shoe/boot. The 10.E was still tight on my instep but the 11E was too big (except for the loafers, which I have to go to the 11E because of the instep). When I just happened to order the 11D on a whim I found my perfect fit. Yes, they say an 11D is “equivalent” to a 10.5E but I’ve found there is a slight difference. For their boots and derbys I’m an 11D, but for loafers an 11E.

Oh how difficult it was to find this fit. I had quite a few pairs of grant stone boots and shoes before getting the loafers (I now have more of their loafers than boots or derby’s) but my high instep made finding this perfect size elusive. 11E was too big for me in their boots even with thicker socks so I was hesitant to go here for the loafers which I would be wearing with thin or no show socks. Sure enough, 11E it was. Now I have 6 pairs of these loafers—love them.
