Who ever had such a shoe, especially from the Heritage line in the hand, knows exactly what I mean. The Iron Ranger is just a real shoe: leather, hooks, eyelets, sole... and everything somehow permanently connected. And it smells the same. I believe that boys have a similar relationship to jeans, leather jackets, pocket knives and good shoes as they do to cars or motorcycles. However, with inspection of the leather and the processing it also becomes clear that the gentlemen in Minnesota, blood, sweat and tears packed between the purchase of a new Red Wings and the "friend for life". I will say, it is often said when entering, " Band-aids paved his way". But that's the way it has to be, it's a good thing, and it's fitting for a shoe that looks like it was worn by Tom Joad himself. For all its work authenticity, however, the shoe is quite suitable for city streets. The Iron Ranger go with everything that also has "heritage". Whether it is jeans, T-shirt, Troyer and wax jacket, or a wool or tweed suit. Ok, 350,- € are actually already an investment, but if you consider that the Iron Ranger, like almost all models of the Heritage and the Classic Work series are produced with just this large share of handwork, actually not so bad. And if you take care of the shoes to some extent, you have a friend for life, as already mentioned. And they are timeless anyway.
