What a nice looking boot! The fit is pretty great as usual with Beckett Simonon. Enough room for my larger (left) foot and not overly loose in my smaller foot. Break in was no problem. I don’t wear these all too often because they are suede. This suede leather isn’t as solid feeling as BS’s other leathers. This colorway has been discontinued. A very solid boot.

Very nice looking loafers. This loafer felt too comfortable out of the box and within moments I knew I was too big and long. Lots of heel slipping and tons of volume and space around my instep. It’s strange because I had purchased (from eBay) another pair of BS lamberts from an older batch that were the same size that fit super tight and almost felt too small. I don’t know if they changed something or there was just some sizing inconsistencies with the brand, but I had to return the loafers. Phot included of side by side comparison with the lambert in oak from the older batch. Notice the difference in the shoe opening which makes the fit totally different

Initial fit was pretty tight. I almost thought I should have sized up. It was squeezing nearly uncomfortably on my foot around my instep. After a few try-ons and some light wearing they loosened up to feel perfect. Never had a boot fit this well. As they broke in I had to pull the laces tighter and tighter around my ankles for a secure fit. Now the sides of the leather are nearly touching so I would say this leather loosens up quite a bit. I just wear them casually.
