Fit is great, comfort is exceptional. I was able to wear these shoes all night at my wedding reception and they were great both standing and dancing in.

Fits well in width. Facings spread a little due to high instep. Heel to ball is long, but wearable.

Pretty good fit. The right shoe has just a bit of extra room in it—more than other Allen Edmonds shoes I have on the same last, but not enough that my foot feels like it’s sliding around inside the shoe all day.

McCallister in burgandy weave.
More of a casual shoe than dress. This fits with the other classic 65 last designs of AE. It wears well as a casual shoe. I like the dainite sole with this shoe. Even going up a width it feels a bit narrow but after time it broken quite well.

I have a low instep, measure slightly over a 13, between a D and E. D was too narrow in the 65 last, which is a long, narrow last. E fits perfectly.

I don't own McAllister but the McTavish that I think it uses the same last.

The McTavish are the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever owned. They feel like tennis shoes, really. I can wear them all day.
