Leo LAST

The Leo last fits half a size full in length and width. Most customers will go down half a size from their average sneaker or dress shoe size (Brannock), wearing the same size as most of their GYW boots.
Additional widths are offered, including E & EEE. The wider widths increase volume in the instep and ball area.
When moving into a EEE, remember to go down in size. For example, someone who measures 10.5 on a Brannock may wear the following sizes comfortably. Note, length is added when grading E and EEE widths.

My heel is settled where I want it, and I have a good amount of room both to the sides and on top of my toes. Best with wool socks- cotton doesn't compress as much and my small toes rub a little on the sides.

Same as Diesel size, but I prefer Diesel because I have skinny feet, so the narrower shaft of the Diesel gives more secure fit. Edward’s facings come closer together.

Size 9 for me works great with thicker socks. Same size as in Thursday Captain. Comfortable with little effort to break in. As others have stated on various online platforms, the construction of the boots looks flawless. Beautiful footwear. Stylishly casual, modest shine to this kangaroo leather.

Watch my review on my YouTube Bootlosophy Channel: Built on their Leo last, like their Diesel Boots, this Edward boot features larger quarter panels, internal heel counters, and a single strip backstay. Built using traditional Goodyear Welt, veg-tanned leather midsole and cork filler with a veg tanned leather insole, the boot is comfortable as soon as you step into it. I usually wear an 8D in heritage style boots - and Grant Stone is no exception - despite my 8.5D Brannock measurement, this size of 7.5E is a very good fit if you can't get your size - go half a size down, but one width up.

The Leo last does not fit me very well. I can only wear dress socks with my pair, and there are a lot of spaces in front of my toes. I wear this pair of boots when the trails are muddy.

I loved every part of the shopping experience for these boots. Giovanni was a huge help in emailing back and forth to peg down my size. I'm an 11 brannock, slightly wide and we went with a 10.5E, and they are the best fitting pair of boots that I have. The leather is a rich and beautiful reddish brown with no flaws that I can find. I would highly recommend shopping with Grant Stone to anyone.
