  Good fit throughout with the exception of the lacing over the instep. Extremely painful break in. Even after a year's worth of regular wear and an actual 10 mile backpacking hike in them, the lace is still a bit painful if worn for long periods, even with the whole shoe loosening up and breaking in to be fairly high volume.

  Originally bought with sockless wear in mind thus the half size down from brannock. After about 9 months I can wear them with thin socks as well as sockless.
