Long break in. Fit very good on my slightly wide Brannock 10 feet. A touch narrow on my larger (R) foot but given the space in the toe of last #8 boots, they dont squeeze the toes. Incredible build. One of my favorite boots. They are now resoled on the Beckman sole (highly recommended!)

They fit a bit long, but the width is perfect, I added a set of Dr. Scholl’s® Air-Pillo® Insoles which helped to fill the length issue and also added comfort to break them in no time.

STYLE NO. 3345 in Black Prairie leather.
Excellent pair, the patina has developed to reveal the dark brown base of the leather where they have picked up scuffs and scratches.

Mine was a came with the oil slick leather which has the deep dark red/burgundy color that In certain lights would look super vibrant and in darker light look straight black , overall the leather is very versatile. The soles are extremely durable I had mine for 2 years + and they looked new , very grippy in wet / icy weather apart from dedicated winter boots I recommend these for any type of cold weather environment. The only bad thing about the soles are that they are thin and you feel everything under your feet,Especially gravel .

They run very narrow and are stiff at first , break in can be very brutal . Fortunately for me mine fit very well and I didn’t have to go through a harsh break In . I used mine for basically anything and everything mostly because when you wear them you feel like they can take anything you got . They clean up very well and actually were my “fancy” pair of boots I owned for a long time . They don’t require a lot of maintenance, but some mink/neetsfoot oil would do them a good service.

Technically my second pair of gyw boots post military (first pair were some tan suede wolverine 1000 miles which I've lost) I've always treated them as my first pair. I'm on the second resole now, and man oh man were these the perfect boots for my feet. The sizing and shape of the boots just fits my 10.5D foot like a glove. I find myself still reaching for these even though they're beat to shit (I wore them for 2 years straight every day without conditioning, I've lived and learned by now) but they're still comfortable as hell. I don't think they're actually recognizable as Red Wing 3343's anymore though.

I tried both size 12 and 13. The 12 was uncomfortably narrow and made my foot numb within a few minutes the 13 seemed ok but as I’ve being wearing them they have loosened to where I need to be sure to wear thicker socks. Unfortunately the store did not have more than one of each size. I think if I could have tried another pair of the 12’s, they might have been better.

These require minimal care, just a leather cream every few months will keep the boot hydrated and the color consistent.

These are acceptable boots if you get them on sale. Otherwise you should consider Canada West Boots or Grant Stone. The Vibram 430 sole is good and long lasting, but the low block heel throws off the balance of the boot. In my pair the round toe has collapsed a bit, even thought the toe is structured—it doesn't look nearly as bulbous as the IRs. I wouldn't be ashamed to wear these, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Fit was never quite right, way too short, discomfort on the left foot to the extreme. Eventually the leather blew out and it felt like a vice grip on the ball of my foot.

These never fit right. They were tight and the arch support was always a bit off. I really was in denial about these boots for some time. They could take a beating and look perfect after. One durably made pair of boots but a horrible fit for me.

This was the first time I ever bought a boot and checked my Brannock sizing. My brannock is a 8D, pretty normal foot. I like the feel and tightness of this boot in a size 7. The size 7.5 was a bit too loose.
