  Bought these during the Viberg sample sale by Marrkt. I had previously tried on a size 7 derby boot in the 2020 last from Mr. Porter. Despite me being a brannock 8E, taking the full size down guidance did not work well for my feet. Mostly, my foot just didn't place correctly in the boot (it was pushed slightly too far back so my heel constantly rubbed against the backstay). With some additional measuring and guidance from Stitchdown's own u/ChineseBroccoli, I ended up buying another pair of Viberg boots (my first pair), this time in size 7.5 on the 2020 last. Despite having a single E width in a last that's supposed to really be a normal D width, I found these boots incredibly comfortable. The toe box was snug but it wasn't so cramped that my toes were forming blisters. My foot felt well aligned and even though I haven't worn them out yet (these are my thunderdome pair), from my limited tests around the house, these fit great.

  I initially bought these in a 10D and really thought they fit like a glove but a few days of walking made me realize I needed a half size bigger. I can make the full size down from Brannock work because of my narrower feet but my right foot is a little longer and the 10.5D is just far more comfortable with thin to medium boot socks and thick socks being very warm and snug.
